MSU Fashion Week 2024: 49 Dazzling Designs That Will Make Your Jaw Drop!

Fashionistas, buckle up, because the MSU Fashion Week 2024 has just dropped a style bomb that will blow your minds! 🚀 Picture this: a fashion runway that not only showcases 49 jaw-dropping outfits but also celebrates heritage and culture like never before. Taking place from November 18 to November 21, this event was an extravagant display of creativity, ingenuity, and sheer fashion brilliance! Alongside the killer fashion show, attendees were captivated by a fashion exhibition themed Contemporary Ancestry and some truly mind-blowing projects like MSU UP: Upcycle Project and the 3D magic of Issey Miyake’s modeling designs! 🎨

Included in this fashion extravaganza were ten jaw-dropping designs from the MSU x UEDA Gakuen Fashion Show 2024 collection, a men's collection featuring 12 dazzling designs, 17 designs dedicated to Championing Heritage & Culture Appreciation, and a stunning hijab collection by MSU’s very own alumni. Talk about a style overload!

And let's not forget the pièce de résistance! 🎭 The event was graced by some serious fashion royalty, including MSU President, Professor Tan Sri Dato' Wira Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, and the fabulous President of UEDA College of Fashion, Hitoshi Tajima! The fashion partnership between MSU and UEDA has been nothing short of explosive, giving MSU's fashion design students international acclaim through jaw-dropping runway shows and creative learning experiences. And wait till you hear this—9 of MSU’s talented students just took on the Guliacarla Cecchi International Competition in Florence, Italy, where they slayed with collections inspired by deep themes like Animal Abuse and Harimau Malaya! 🐾 Dozens are tipping their hats (or should we say, their fabulous fashion caps) to Arina Zahiralmas and Indah Sharas Wati, who both nailed it in the top 10!

Since 2018, the magic of MSU and UEDA’s partnership has given rise to staggering opportunities for MSU students, allowing them to showcase their dazzling designs in Osaka, Japan, and many even strutting their stuff on the grand stage of Malaysia Fashion Week.
