"Majestic Wolfhounds and Stunning Gowns: Inside San Diego's Dazzling Winter Wonderland Fashion Show!"

The Arc of San Diego threw a spectacular Winter Wonderland Fashion Show and Luncheon on December 6 at the swanky US Grant Hotel, and it was nothing short of a Nutcracker Extravaganza! The day kicked off with a holiday shopping boutique and a thrilling silent auction, where guests could bid on some eye-popping treasures.

The ever-entertaining Mary Murphy, known for her stint on "So You Think You Can Dance," emceed the event with her electrifying charisma. Clint Bell, the renowned auctioneer, amped up the excitement with a live auction featuring a signature cocktail experience!

Brace yourselves because the jaw-dropping fashion show, directed by Leonard Simpson, stole the spotlight! Satori Designs opened with their global eclectic collection, flawlessly accented with Hammitt handbags. Then came Lena Trotsko, whose stunning gowns and corsets left the audience awe-inspired. An unforgettable moment unfolded with Zeglio Custom Clothiers' models walking the runway beside majestic wolfhounds—seriously, who could resist such grandeur? Debbie Nghiem wowed everyone with her Fame Of Love Collection for GG Connects, and Mario’s Boutique ended with a bang, showcasing breathtaking holiday ballgowns. Their motto, "Because you are a Queen!" truly resonated throughout the show. Designing magic didn't stop there with creations from Extreme and Fashion Forward by Leonard Simpson.

Hair and makeup were generously styled by the Paul Mitchell School, while the fantastic props and headpieces were crafted by Gloria Parker. But here's the cherry on top: the event supports The Arc of San Diego’s programs for individuals with disabilities. As the largest nonprofit in San Diego aiding those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as autism and Down syndrome, The Arc of San Diego touches the lives of more than 2,000 children and adults each year.
