Forget the Met Gala: Irish Designers Steal the Show at London's Wild Fashion Awards!

Who needs the Met Gala when the Fashion Awards at London's Royal Albert Hall are where all the action is? Celebrities like Venus Williams and Daisy Ridley made appearances, but it was Irish designers who took home the glory! Belfast's very own Jonathan Anderson snagged Designer of the Year, presented by fellow Irishman and heartthrob, Jamie Dornan. Meanwhile, Nicola Coughlan, the superstar from Bridgerton, awarded the British womenswear designer prize to Dublin's genius, Simone Rocha.

Anderson, who's wowed the fashion industry for years, is whispered to be on the brink of a titanic career leap—perhaps becoming the creative director at Dior. Gasp! As for Rocha, her designs screamed elegance on the big night!

Guests did not disappoint with their daring fashion choices. Billie Piper rocked a vintage Dior dress, paired with some killer high-street heels. Munroe Bergdorf turned heads in a dramatic puffball mini dress, complete with its own train handler!

Fashion queens Amelia and Eliza Spencer mirrored each other in opulent black-on-black looks, while Alexa Chung stayed true to her style roots in a dazzling sheer dress with a pop of fiery red lipstick.

And can we talk about peacocks like Maya Jama? She hit the scene in a striking green satin dress by Conner Ives, while Ellie Bamber followed suit with a chic Prada ensemble.

Ever the scene-stealer, Alessandra Ambrosio turned up draped in shimmering gold sequins, while Alek Wek opted for a bold scarlet leotard punctuated by a flowing chiffon cape.

The night was a sartorial showdown of epic proportions. The inimitable Anna Wintour and Stella McCartney were spotted in matching wine-hued satin looks, proving once again that they are always in sync with the industry's pulse.
