Florida Strawberry Festival Fashion Show: Jaw-Dropping Attendance & 4 Generations of Glam!
Share
The Florida Strawberry Festival Fashion Show & Luncheon has smashed records with a jaw-dropping attendance of 645 fabulous guests this year!
Linda Walden, who strutted her stuff in a yellow polyester dress from downtown hot spot Hooker’s Department Store, has been a cornerstone of this event since its humble beginning. Can you believe when she was first coaxed into becoming chairman by Catherine Clark in 1990, she thought she’d only do it for a year? Fast forward 35 years, and she’s still a diva on duty!
This dynamite event, which started in a mere church basement with about 50 people, has blown up into an epic extravaganza featuring 67 local models glamming up in the trendiest threads from the coolest local boutiques like Fringe Boutique, RAOK Boutique, and Russell’s Western Wear. It's pure runway magic with our beloved hometown heroes dazzling in hometown designer duds!
Walden’s stepping down, passing the glittery baton to her daughter Suzanne Cribbs, but not before snagging heartfelt applause and love from the crowd. Her granddaughter Caitlin Walker is already on the scene, making sure every guest gets primo seating, and even her great-grandson Hudson stole the spotlight as a mini model. Four generations of fashion fabulousness? You better believe it!
Cribbs is all set to keep the party going, promising a seamless transition. She’s prepared to rock those big shoes her mom’s leaving behind, ensuring Walden can finally kick back and enjoy the show in style!
