Angelina Jolie Set to Stun Paris Fashion Week in Bold New Film Role!

Get ready to be dazzled! Angelina Jolie is heading back to Paris, and she’s diving into the glitzy world of high fashion! After her phenomenal performance as Maria Callas in Maria, Jolie is set to star in Alice Winocour's dazzling first English-language film, "Stitches" (or "Coutures").

The movie is all about the intertwining lives of three women during the thrilling atmosphere of Fashion Week in Paris. Jolie, playing a filmmaker, will lead this stylish cinematic adventure expected to start filming next year. Behind this eagerly awaited project is Charles Gillibert’s Paris-based CG Cinema, teaming up with Zhang Xin and William Horberg of Closer Media.

Alice Winocour and Pathé Films are collaborating again after the success of Paris Memories, which not only premiered at Cannes but also bagged a César Award for its star, Virginie Efira. With distribution in France handled by Pathé Films and global sales by Hanway Films, "Stitches" is set to be a bilingual spectacle, filmed in both French and English.

Jolie wowed audiences in Paris previously with Maria, earning an eight-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival and stepping into the best actress Oscar race for the first time in 15 years. Her portrayal of Callas in Maria has been a career highlight since her last nomination in Clint Eastwood’s The Changeling back in 2009.

The international buzz doesn't stop there! Charles Gillibert is also working on exciting international projects like Jim Jarmusch's much-anticipated film Father Mother Sister Brother, starring Cate Blanchett and Adam Driver, along with Kristen Stewart’s directorial venture, "The Chronology of Water".

So, stay tuned for a whirlwind of glamour, drama, and unforgettable performances woven into the fabric of "Stitches" as Angelina Jolie takes center stage in the fashion capital of the world!
